How can I become a client?
If you need legal assistance with a federal or state income tax matter, please call 804-358-5855 and press 8 for the intake line or email us at [email protected]. The initial phone call is to gather information and to complete the intake interview. After the initial phone call, your issue will be presented to our attorneys, and you will receive a phone call informing you if your case has been accepted.
Who can become a client?
You may be eligible for representation if you meet both of the following requirements:

The amount the IRS says you owe is $50,000 per tax year or less

Your household's total income does not exceed 250 percent of the federal poverty guideline

How much does it cost?
We do not charge clients for our services. However, if you are accepted as a client, you may need to pay for expenses incurred during representation, such as filing fees, court costs, transcript costs, copying, and mailing charges. The likelihood of a taxpayer incurring any of these costs is minimal.
